It is imperative that all the moss and detritus from upon and within the pores of the surface is removed. The machine Richard has made, allows the working head to be raised or lowered to suit all court conditions, and can get within ½” of the outer edges of the kerbs, which are then finished by hand.
The washing process enables each piece of moss to be “zapped” 6 times –the 7th time is when all the detritus is washed into a pile to remove from the court.
It can take anywhere between 6 to 10 hrs to thoroughly clean a court.
